My name is Ms. Tiner. I am a former HC Owlette. I graduated from Hale Center High School. I feel that this is an EXCELLENT place to raise a family. The love of God and family runs deep in this community. Those are the most important ingredients to a happy childhood. Our school system is one of the best in our county. I have been at HCISD for 15 years. I love what I do and the students, staff and administration are the reasons that I feel that way. I have 3 wonderful boys that drive my enthusiasm for sports, games, having fun and the love of family. I am very excited about starting a new year with the Voyager reading program. This program is a wonderful way to teach your 1st grader the exciting new world of reading. Phonics, spelling, fluency and comprehension skills are the major components of this program and are all embedded inside. In the stories, your 1st grader will meet friends from the sea that will open doors to new adventures and introduce them to new and exciting creatures that live in or by the sea. |
