Ready Set Teach |
 |
 |
Is a career working with children a possibility for your future? Step into the workplace by assisting our skilled elementary teachers staffed on the Akin campus! Develop an understanding of children's needs, skills, abilities, and growth. Every week holds new adventures in this course designed for the junior or senior student.
This is a tech-prep course. This means that a student may obtain college credit by meeting certain criteria for this course. A new option for students in 2008-2009 is taking the course as dual credit. This means the teacher of the subject matter studied in class will be a South Plains College Professor. Topics will be covered by computer correspondence. |

8) Expect my substitute to give you valid work I have prepared. Do it and be extra-polite to the substitute.
9) If food and/or drinks become a distraction, mess, or keep you from paying attention they will be banned from your entire class.
10) Display respect of teachers and students in and outside of our classroom. DO NOT be rude or speak poorly of others when they are not in our presence. There is no place for hostility in our school. (Besides, people will wonder what you say badly about them when they are not around.)
