English III--This class is devoted to the study of mainly American literature, as well as writing skills. Students must pass English Language Arts TAKS test in order to receive a diploma. |

Advanced Placement English Language and Composition |

AP 1--This class is a college level writing course devoted to the study of authors' tone and style. If students pass the AP exam given in May, they could earn six hours of college credit. |
