Coach Bates is in his 7th year teaching and coaching and his second year at Hale Center HS. Coach Bates graduated from Tarleton State University in 2001. He is married to Joanna and has 2 beautiful sons Chance Kellen (3 years old) and Bryce Gunnar (2 years old). Coach Bates will be the Head Basketball coach and assist with football and track. He will also be teaching World Geography and World History.
