WELCOME to the 2007-2008 Yearbook Staff!
This class is going to have a very exciting and a very busy year. I am so glad to have you in this class.

Zero Hour 7:55 am – 8:20 am
1st/2nd Period Art 1 (Semester Block) 8:25 am – 9:57 am
3rd/4th Period Conference 10:01 am – 11:42 am
5th Period Art 1 (Yearlong Class) 11:46 am – 12:35 pm
Lunch 12:35 pm - 1:10 pm
6th/7th Period Art 3 (Semester Block) 1:14 pm - 2:46 pm
8th Period Yearbook (Yearlong Class) 2:50 pm - 3:45 pm

Course Outline:
• Sell Ads for the Yearbook
• Assign yearbook pages.
• Lay out yearbook pages with the Ladder Diagram.
• Design layouts using Elite Vision software.
• Take pictures and working with them in Photoshop.
• Do surveys and writing articles, headlines, and captions in the yearbook.
• Assist on Picture Days.
• Various other assigned duties related to Yearbook.
• Weekly vocabulary lists and tests.

Daily Work and Responsibilities 25% *
Vocabulary Tests 25%
Layouts/Tests 50% *
*Note: Grading rubrics will be used for all art projects and daily work.
