WELCOME to a NEW YEAR at HALE CENTER HIGH SCHOOL. A lot of exciting a new things are in store for you at the Hale Center High School Art Department.

My philosophy for Art is to embark on the discovery of perception, critical thinking, problem-solving as we design and create many different art forms. The classes focus on studio art in which we explore all art mediums - drawing, painting, sculpting, printmaking, jewelry, photography, and fiberarts. Through hands-on discovery, students learn and apply the elements and principles of art. My desire is that students begin to get excited about art and are determined to continue their exploration and creation of exciting art pieces.

In order to provide weekly updates as to the students' grades, I will post weekly grades by Thursday of each week. Please check the grade book weekly and contact me if you have any questions regarding your grades.
